Stubz - I don't know your history, so I don't know how you stayed smoke-free for 50 days. But, I do know that if you did it before, you can do it again. Each day is a new day to start fresh. Have you tried Chantix? It has been so helpful to me and many other people! According to the American Lung Association, it takes the average smoker two to four attempts at quitting to successfully kick the habit. And the reason that most people who try to quit eventually succeed... is because they keep trying. With every attempt they learn more about what it takes and they're better prepared the next time. It would be nice if everyone quit the first and only time they ever tried to quit, but the fact is that most smokers who become non-smokers... have tried more than once. Stubz, never stop trying. Come back when you're ready to put your experience back to work. You'll beat this yet. Stubz.. I relapsed twice - one of those relapses was at 43 smoke free days and I got right back into my quit. It was just a moment in time.. fleeting moment and I didn't look back after starting a new quit. I learned why I went back to that vile habit and forged ahead and now look at me.. Feeling stronger than ever and have more resolve than ever :) Hope to see you back here soon hon! No I lost. I unfortunatlely am back to a pack a day. I wanna scream. I just signed in and it says I should be at 69 days. I just wanna smack myself. I will be back, I know I feel better quitting. I know I can quit. I know I can fight the urges, even some horrible ones. My first week of this quit was friggin ridiculously horrible and I survived it. I'm such a wus. Stubz, Do you want to quit? Then join us! Just don't smoke! It's that simple. No, it's not easy, but the concept is very simple. When you want to smoke, come here, vent, cry, whine, do whatever you have to do, but just don't smoke! In order to quit, we have to now think like non-smokers. Non-smokers don't have one "every once in a while to calm down" or "just one when..." Non-smokers don't smoke! You can do this! You just have to want it more than you want to smoke. Do you? Come on back and join us when you're ready. We'll be here waiting for you. Crave the Quit!
