LOL, don't hurt the skinny people....wait....their bodies are easy to hide...go ahead..hurt away. Congrats on day 9, that's fantastic. I love the sucker's too, it's a great way to work of aggression without drawing blood! Just had to state somewhere that's not out loud. People who bring food stuff and set it out at work are EVIL. Especially this skinny woman who just moved by my desk. She brought with her 3 (yes, three) bowels of candy that she constantly fills. Mini name brand chocolate bars in one bowel that she put right next to the printer. I am not a snacker. I try to eat two or less meals a day. But today into my 9th day of quit and second day back to work - I'm wanting to scarf. I ate two chocolates and two mini gummy things. I also tried two suckers, started off sucking. After about two seconds I had chomped them to smitherines (sp?). I found the sucker stick helpful though. EVIL I say! :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/19/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 97 Amount Saved: $45 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 21 Mins: 30 Seconds: 27

Oh my goodness, you all are hilarious!! Don't forget, though, that exercise (even moderate -- plain old walking around) is a huge element of the quit. And why not retaliate and bring bowls (NOT a grammar queen, but I roared at co-worker filling her "bowels" with candy --- more information than I really needed!!) -- of dry-roasted nuts (a male co-worker's perhaps?), mini-carrots, and fruit? Part of my own addiction is that whole oral fixation mode, so I'm always sucking or chewing on something -- exercise is my only salvation! peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 36 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,819 Amount Saved: $198 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 8 Mins: 56 Seconds: 8

Well, truth be told, I don't exactly salivate at the idea of exercise, but then, I guess it all depends on who is in the gym with me. (Jeez -- this is contagious! I thought Phil was the only dirty old man around here!) peteg

Hmmm....so that would mean that 50 tootsie pops (but mini ones) would be ?????? calories. I don't think we are allowed to kill skinny people but I think it's okay to glue their phone shut (but only during the first 30 days of your quit) Windy My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/11/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 78 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,578 Amount Saved: $390 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 11 Mins: 41 Seconds: 52

Dont worry about gaining weight. You can always take that off---however, if you pick up a smoke, you may not put them back down. Remember, protect your quit at all costs!!
