thank-you everyone for all your support! I think being here is really going to help me. Cuzzy......what the heck? how come you didn't tell me about this great place befor? ha! Keep up the good work. You deserve to be smoke free! IT'S SUCH A CLOUD! IT'S NOT A PRETTY ONE!
ok everyone your not going to believe this! I woke up and smoked a cigarette! I FORGOT I DIDN'T SMOKE!!!! It was natural that I smoked a cig. This is not good. Now I feel like....Well I smoked a cig. I might as well smoke all day and start tomorrow. I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT! this is not good!
Pausing....
Don't get discouraged. Let's keep going. Take control of your life right now. You're powerful...so own that about you! I would suggest throwing out all of your cigarettes and all of the equipment that goes along with it...like ashtrays, matches, lighters, oxygen tanks....etc....
For me the patch really helped. I'd go buy a box, leave the grocery stroe and put one on in the parking lot first. Throw out your cigarettes before you go to the store!
Linda :)

I told you about this wonderful site two days after I learned about it myself. Today is day 4 for me. I am so thrilled. We can do it. The support on here will help me tremendously. Whenever I have a craving which I have learned is triggered when I'm feeling down or anxious, I come on to this site and get inspired by the people who are going through it and are supporting me. Nothing about being down or anxious will be solved by me putting a cigarette to my lips.
I love you and thank you all for your support! Linda

I share the same sentiments...I am 1 day away from 3 months...who'd a thunk it...couldn'ta done it without everyone! Yep, I know what you mean...my friends CAN NOT believe my progress. I loved cigs so much I'd have a pack in every room to be certain I wouldn't be without my friend...NUTZIE CUCKOO...
Anyway, we are ALL smoke free, non-smokers, whatever...we light up on life, living and good health not cancer causing chemicals...gosh, golly if I could have only been this smart 30 years ago...no matter...we are free...feels good...we help each other. We need to. Our world is in such a mucky muck place right now it is fabulous to check in with you lovely bunch!
Congratulations to you! Bravo! Well done...keep going...keep posting..
Love and light

Now come on now Pausing!
I won't tell if you don't tell! It is a habit, and we have smoked for all so very long. You will need to a stiff upper lip and some coping tools. Can you afford patches? They will take the edge off. Have you thought about cutting back first and setting a quit date for later? Some ideas for you.
Listen to Free. Work the program to the left. When you quit, you get rid of smokes and all the various paraphernalia!

When you don't smoke anymore there is no need to have ashtrays or cigarettes around. So get rid of them.
