Oooops,,, I owe the SMILEY'S idea to Sparky!
My big shop date was on Friday and bought some perfume called "Euphoria".. what an appropriate name huh?
Well, I'm going shopping again at the end of next week to get the smiley's and I'm going to get a huge piece of coloured paper from the store so I can make my own calendar! It'll be huge with lots of space for each day and those smiley's are going to stand out to remind me that I AM DOING WELL! I'll place right behind my pc, in full view from all points in my room :)
Back to cooking and also back to crocheting -- started off as a scarf.. and now it's becoming a freakin' blanket!!!! LOL!!!!!

Okay, can we give the smiley faces a break? Their poor little cheeks are getting tired, and me, I need a hit of insulin. I feel like I'm back in camp. Whatever happened to people getting all mean and nasty when they quit? Can't we bring the good old days back? Let's find someone and slap him around some; now that's fun and would put a smiley on this face!

Morning everyone! First and foremost just want to say that on this Remembrance Day, thinking of all the people who lost their lives during wartime. They never had the chances in life that we are having now. I will never forget that. Now... about the shopping. Went out this morning and bought more patches, straws, new journal to chart this up and down journey, a nice new pen, and something I've been meaning to try for a while. White tea. Whatever helps along the way. They say its full of antioxidants too. I'll let you know what its like if you haven't tried it. Have a great smoke free day. Cheers, Jan

I think I'm going to buy me some smiley faces :), Sparky. I love that idea. That way, just by glancing at the calendar, I'll be able to see my progress. That's great motivation!!! Cheers, Jan

Haven't talked to you in a bit, River. Good to hear from you. And I looooove how you are rewarding yourself. Good for you!!!! You truly deserve it. Also wanted to say that on the morning of my "slip", my oldest beagle Holly wasn't interested in giving me my customary morning "snug". The girls don't like the smell of smoke. Who can blame them? Learned a valuable lesson. Keep up the great work River, and keep enjoying that "timmies". Cheers, Jan
