Forget the crescent

18 years ago 0 7 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
As I mentioned earlier,I have tried to quit 3 times before but this time I know will be my last as I just know I won't smoke again. I guess I am alot more prepared now. I have read loads and have realised that I am an addict (a thought which disgusts me!) I also realised that my past attempts were half hearted and \I did not put 100% into them. It seems totally different now. Smoking is THE ANTI SOCIAL pastime of today. When I was younger evereyone seemed to smoke, now it's the complete opposite. I guess for me personally this fact has give me the extra shove and now I just don't see the crescent - I see the whole of the moon. I hope Everyone gets to see it soon!!! Karen x

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

HI Tashacat, When is your quit date? Just want to know so that we can give you a lot of support on that day. I understand what you mean about it being so anti-social. I would hide it from all my friends and neighbors. I was so afraid someone would know that I smoked. I really sat in a closet outside in my garage to smoke. I am on day 13 and I am so thankful for each day that I can breath better. I now know that I can beat this addition. Tashacat, It really is fast becoming the anti social pastime of our society. This is a great thing! It is so damaging to so many areas of our body. Congratulations on quitting and thanks for sharing your thoughts. Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team
