Listen, there is no one on this site that has not experienced your pain or hardship in relation to quitting. Just read some of the posts and you will see for yourself. Some cry and they feel worthless and depressed. ITS OK! Its all because you are changing your thinking and your ability to think is in your mind. And that is what has to happen, so get over it and move on. This thing called nicotine is the worse addiction and it is right up there with cocane and heroin. With heroin, people go on methodone maintenance, with nicotine, we go on other aids, same thing for cocane. One reason why people have not quit years ago is the fact that cigs are legal. They dont cause a threat to society in the way that cocane and heroin does. With cocane, some people have to steal to get money to buy it and it alers your judgment, same with heroin. They ruin other peoples life in the process and that is unexceptable in our Society. In all actuality, your addiction only hurts you with some exceptions such as second hand smoke. Where society is wrong is because they fail to see the repercussions of smoking. Have you ever herd someone say to you, "go ahead, smoke, its your life" Well, its not just your life, its also the lives of the people who care about you. Your spouse, your childeren and your friends. How do you think they will feel if you told them that because of your addiction, you have lung cancer or your heart is in real bad shape. How will they except that from you. Will they say, " thats your problem" or, " you caused it" Well, lets hope not. Put your quit into perspective. You smoke to escape something. What is it that you are trying to escape? Once you realize what it is that you are trying to escape, deal with that. Make it right if you can. If you cant, get someone to help you. Dont rely on nicotine, it will only put a bandaid on the problem, it wont cure it. It is not designed to cure it, it is only designed to replace something and that something is the feeling to feel good for a short time, that is, until the next time you light up and so on. But in the mean time, your organs are screaming for you to STOP!! And if you dont stop, your organs will shut down with disease because you didnt listen to the warning signs. You concintrated on the nicotine's ability to mak
