A Tibit of Self Talk Help

18 years ago 0 1985 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I posted this for someone else here but it applies to all of us trying to cope with quitting. So here is an editted verison. While doing self talk, remember to include the reason or reasons why you quit. It is very important to remember this and it should be the main stay in your tool box. Always, always go back to this when the crave strikes. It will help your resolved to remain quit and will help focus and tune your mind.

Stickin to it, Self talk is an important step. Your brain receives and interprets all that self talk. So even though it may seem kind of silly, your brain is listening. Thanks for sharing. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Good point Danielle. Even though it may seem a little silly- it works! So talk to yourself ;) When the urge comes, say: "Slow down. You're doing great. You can keep going." Great topic 'stickin to it'.
