Hi Keith! Maybe it is time to see your doc about your feelings. Smoking can mask our true inner feelings. Smoking is how we have dealt with stress for all of these years. Now, without the smokes, our true nature does come out. We feel like the whole world is against us! And yes, it can be very very stressful!!
As for your sex drive dropping: You said you are harboring resentment feelings against your wife. That could drop the sex drive. I know when I am ticked off at my hubby, I will not give in to sex. Forget it. My hubby will not be getting lucky! He can wait until I am ready. Perhaps you are too busy concnetrating on your quit, to worry about sex.
Step back and look at your wife. She has supported you when you smoked, and when you decided to quit. She has seen you at your worst and at your best. Apparently she loves you enough to put up whatever you are going thru. Be gentle with her. Hold her at night and smile. She is the mother of your beautiful daughter, she is your lover, your best friend, the one who knows you the best. I am sure if you were to ask her, she would say the same thing about you too.
And stop being so pessimistic on yourself. You are prolly freaking out as the milestone for you falling off the wagon. Take a deep breath and relax. You can do this. Now, move past the milemarkers of the old quits and forge ahead!!
There is a whole new spread waiting for you ahead! Go see the doc about what you are feeling. He / she can help you.
Now, here is your HUG and a slap on the back. You are doing well!!
