Hi All, ok here is my current status:
- 42 days passed
- 1074 cancer sticks not smoked
I've been jumping back and forth from the patch 14mg and the gum. I've tried quitting before, but this time, I wanna be done with smoking for good, I've never been more serious. I think this go round, I've gotten together the mental game (ie: when people smoke around me, it doesn't bother me... or after a meal... etc).
But my body is still hurting, still needs the nicotine, constantly, I'm in pain or craving or whatever... you know what I mean. I think what I need to do, as painful as it is, is to basically de-toxic. Get rid of nicotine aids, I need it out of my blood completely.
I can basically lock myself in for 2-3 days and just deal with it, maybe take some tylenols, relax, take it easy, whatever.
MY QUESTION IS: Is that long enough to get the nicotine out of my system? In theory, once it's out, my body won't crave it anymore. The mental game will be there, but my body won't crave as much.
True / False / thoughts,,,, thanking you in advance
