Coping with a new quitter

Hi Jan, You might want to tell your niece to be glad that her husband is sleeping a lot. From what I understand that sometimes when people stop smoking they can become cranky. Of course I would know no anything about that. :eg: However do not confirm that fact with my husband, children, lady at the gym, the list goes on and on.:) Way to go Jan. We are almost at a month. A smoke free life truely does get better and better. The first few days of my quit I slept alot also and so did my friend who quit with me.. I think all the naping is fairly normal as there was a post made about it and many others had the same experience My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/9/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 451 Amount Saved: $225 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 3 Mins: 26 Seconds: 37

My niece's hubby just quit smoking 2 days ago. I've told her things will get better, for her as well. His itinerary - sleep, work, sleep, supper, sleep DAY 1 sleep, work, sleep, supper, sleep DAY 2 Apparently no one can mention cigarettes or ask him how he's doing. In my niece's words, "He is a crabby individual!!!!" Been there, and its nice to know it gets better. Sometimes it a tough road, but one well worth travelling. So glad I'm smoke free! Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 775 Amount Saved: $225 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 21 Mins: 42 Seconds: 24
