Good advice to yourself.
I know those thoughts and how destructive they can be.
It's hard to remove them entirely; you can help what you're thinking.
You can remind yourself where they come from and that they will pass as will the cravings.
Good luck....

Calling on anxious thoughts to check the rising tide of some fearful feeling is like trying to stop a landslide by throwing rocks at it!

I just thought I'd put this little quote on here. I like to read it to put things back into perspective. Thought someone else might find it helpful as well.
So when I start getting anxious thought about quitting smoking I'm not gonna start getting out whatever I can find to throw at my cravings to stop it. I gotta just let it pass and quit giving it the power to determine what I am gonna feel or do.
That's my stragety so far. So far so good.

I'm doing OK so far. I've only been up and awake a little over an hour. Gonna go take a nice hot bath and get started on my day. With two kids I got plenty to keep me busy ;)
Keeping my computer on and the SSC in my tray.
