Brubaker, No you've got it. For many it is just that. Thanks for sharing. Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team

So, Not sure if this is the best place to mix psychology and food but here goes... So I'm off cigarettes for nearly three weeks...I'm a fairly experienced quitter (two long quits in two years - this is my third).. Noticed in my last quit that the first 6 weeks of quitting - yip you felt hungry - but you actually weren't - just the cigarettes... Ok - walk with me on this one...:) So if we realise that we're going to have this 'burn' and see it for what it is - just don't eat. I don't think it involves any more strong decision making that actually stopping smoking in the first place. So I guess i've got myself to a place where I 'welcome' the burn and as such have actually not ate quite as much as I did when I smoked and have actually lost 3lbs in the last few weeks. So I don't know - it can be done you've just got to get the right 'card' in I guess. Not sure if that's at all helpful or even if anyone will understand:) Mmm did my best.
