Hi Ann, You will be in Florida in March and by then will have 60 days behind you...You will be fine Ann. You will be strong enough. Pay attention to your emotions (you should not be having craves unless you are still using some kind of nicotine). There may be a fleeting trigger thought...treat it as such...don't act like a junkie. Protect your quit...you surely don't want to go through again what you have just accomplished! xo to you and Have a Great Trip !!! Bring lots of beautiful memories back home auntdeb :) and...just remember your son and his wife are your Hosts. I think your daughter is going to say whatever she will say. Siblings tell each other stuff all the time. Just because she says it doesn't mean anything. Chances are that your son and his wife already have the habit weighing heavy on their brain. Most smokers do, on some level. And they have the baby - right? Who knows? they might welcome the opportunity to not smoke (I participated in smoke-out day for years before I quit). Even if they continue to smoke, they will do what they have to do and the junkie will justify that. A statement from you will make it all clear. I wouldnt' worry about this in the least. Just my two cents. Enjoy your visits. Protect yor quit. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/29/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 455 Amount Saved: $225 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 7 Mins: 33 Seconds: 11

I was at my dgt. and her families for 3 days last weekend. I will be going to Fl. to visit my son and his family March 1st. My dgt. is a nonsmoker my son and his wife are smokers. My dgt. said she was going to say something to her brother about not smoking around me when I'm in Fl. I told her NO don't say anything to him because I will be around situations like that all the time. I need to know how to handle it. I don't want my son and his wife uncomfortable when I am there. What do you think? Hi Ann - One reason I have a first quit no slip quit is that I protected my quit w/everything in me (and still do!)... Make sure to take loving care of YOUR quit - testing ourselves can turn out to be the loss of a quit. Only you can decide what YOU need to do. Know that protecting your quit is necessary to keep it safe, especially at the beginning of our journey. Blessings! Ann, It never hurts to inform the other party. You can always be tested, but why not skip a test or two to help you out. You are doing a wonderful thing here, so give your son and his family a chance to be proud of you :) Josie ____________________ The SSC Support Team.
