Quitting smoking has made me very very distracted. No worries, I am told this is normal. Anyways this happened on my 2nd day of non-smoking and I was awake for only 30 minutes (without coffee yet) when my daughter asked me to drive her to Burger King so that she could drop off her resume, on the way to the bus terminus. So, in the meantime I decided to get myself a coffee.
The clerk gives me an empty cup. I proceeded to the counter where I thought I saw the coffee thermos....there was the round like container on the side counter and well instead, it was the KETCHUP! :confuse: Yup, I started to fill my cup with ketchup! I had a good laugh at myself as I went back to the counter to fetch another cup. Turns out the coffee thermos was right besides the cash register! To make things worse, the clerk said that "Nobody has ever done THAT before!!!
Poor Vanessa, she was speaking to the manager through all of this and I hope that I did not mess up her chances of getting a job!

Moqueen,
Thanks for the story! Getting that distraction, unfocused feeling is quite normal. Try not to engage in any major tasks and take some you time :) I am sure this may have helped you daughter get the job, a sense of humor always goes far :)
Keep Strong,
Josie
