Hi stickin -
It takes focus and the desire to Quiit, which must be stronger than the desire to smoke.....to have a forever Quit...
Coping skills are powerful and needed on the Quit journey. They will save your Quit time and time again, as will a list of distractoins to go to in the tough times.
Your Quit will mirror your life. Are you patient with yourself and others? Are you compassionate and forgiving with yourself and others? Are you willing to set boundaries and say no when you need to to take care of yourself?
Do you live your life in your own power, or do you give it away and complain... Do you stand up for what you believe is right or do you stay quiet and safe...
When you make up your mind to do something, do you usually follow through no matter what, or are you easily distracted or do you give up easily?
Do you take good care of yourself and give yourself a break, embracing your own humanity daily? Don't forget - we're human, we get to be human... Humans make mistakes...
AND - do you have the courage to speak your truth, whatever that truth is?
Your Quit will mirror your life, and your choices in life...
The good news? We can make new choices each moment!
How's your life going today...? Is it time to make new choices? Is it time to speak up and take a risk?
Love, Light and Blessings-
