Welcome to the SSC and congratulations on deciding to kick the habit!
Your quit date is fast approaching. What have you done to prepare?
Work through the program, located on the left side of your screen.
Take some time to look over past attempts. Pull out the strategies that worked well for you and modify/replace the ones that didn't.
Take a look at your daily routines. Start giving some thought how you will modify the routines you strongly associate with smoking. Ex: You use to have coffee and a cigarette in the morning. Now, you'll have coffee and read the newspaper.
Lastly, you'll need a reward system. The key to remember when choosing rewards is to select a reward you value and are willing to work towards.
