Hello, Hypnosis has helped me a great deal. I was hypnotised two weeks ago and haven't had a cigarette. I wasn't sure whether it was going to work at the beginning, but this feels different this time, to the previous attempts at quitting. Go for it!!!! i paid what nearly 80 for a session it was a total waste of money however I must say I am partial to hypnosis as I have a friend who is a therapist and he has done some amazing work with me in other areas of my life - the smoking bit just has not worked for me so I guess it hits deeper. Hypnosis is great for relaxation!!

Yeah. I thought I should have gotten a refund, since there was a guarantee. I walked right out of there and straight to the store. I'm not suggestible, either, I should point out. I have heard that it does work for smoking, but that it requires multiple sessions, like four, to work. I have not smoked in 41 days, I still would like to. I am going to go to a hypnosis meeting this monday if noting else by reinforcement to what I am doing now. What do you think? If you really want to quit, it will work. That will be because YOU make it work! I have not done it but have talked to people who have. It's all what you make of it. I think it is great that you have 41 days under your belt first and foremost, Kay. Many members have tried hypnosis. Some found it to be helpful and others thought it was a waste of money. Personally, I believe that anything YOU BELIEVE will help you, WILL HELP YOU. It seems to me quitting smoking (for many) is mostly a mind game. Certainly, each of us is unique and therefore our quit experiences can be very different. But, we all have the capability to STAY quit. Do 'whatever' it takes. If it helps you, I say more power to it (and you). Kay, Whatever works for you, try it! Don't obsess over the quit, push forward :) You have accomplished 42 days and you should be proud! Take the time to reward yourself and see the difference it can make. Change your routines and patterns and join a group or try a new hobby. This is something rewarding you can do :) What did you do for fun? Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
