Hi Kim... The doctor said the same thing to me a few months after I quit. I was shocked! I thought he would be thrilled that I quit smoking and all he talked about was my weight. :mad: Portion control and exercise is the best way to lose the weight. I found that by cutting out any kind of munching and snacking and getting off my rear and participating in physical activity helped take the pounds off. I'm not a very healthy eater but I did lose the weight I put on when I quit. We quit smoking so losing weight should be a breeze right? :8o: You are doing great!
