Shaila, Sorry to hear you had an awful weekend. Did you reward yourself for staying smoke free? Be kind to yourself today and do things to lift your mood. Do whatever it takes, just don't smoke. You quit for yourself. Not anyone or anything else. If you go back to smoking you will only be punishing yourself. Remind yourself frequently how good it is to NOT smoke. It sounds like you're allowing negative thoughts to take over. Only you control your thoughts. Each time you start thinking about what you are denying yourself by not smoking, remind yourself what you are giving yourself in life, breath, looks, better- (or lack of- ) smell, by NOT smoking. And coming on the site w/ a hand held out to pull someone else on board helps immensely. Repeat after me: I don't smoke anymore. (and in Jackie Gleason voice:)How good it is!!! mc My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 355 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,330 Amount Saved: $1420 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 13 Mins: 46 Seconds: 3
