Just kind of blah

I don't know what it is today but I am really kind of craving a smoke. I mean I have my candys and gum and my water and all that but it doesn't seem to be working today. I have been at work since 9 am and already have gone for 2 walks around the building! I have plenty of work to do but can't seem to focus. Is this normal for 30 something days? I have heard people say that cravings can last for 5 min. or whole days. Did anyone else have this 30 day crave and how long did it last? I just woke up with this crave thinking it was a normal passing crave. But this one has stayed with me even through my usual distractions that make it go away. I am going crazy! ~Valic My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 36 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 182 Amount Saved: $190.8 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 13 Mins: 0 Seconds: 48

Hello everyone, Well today is much better. Just like everyone says it will be. I got through my crave, well I just kind of distracted myself with work. Then went to my second job and too busy to think about cigs. I did have one thought as I went on my break. My 2nd job is right next to CVS and the little demon said Just one pack, have one through the rest away... but I just went right upstairs to the breakroom and turned on the t.v. for my 1/2 hr. By the time the show was over I was good. Then it was back to a busy night (I work at staples back to school is here) go home kiss hubby goodnight and fall into bed. Today I rewarded myself with a pizza for lunch. So I resisted yet another crave. I wish they would just stop but I know from everyone here that they can creep up on anyone at anytime. You just have to stop nicademon in his track and say NO. Well just thought I would update everyone. Hey Valic - Yep - it's normal. Lift weights. That's what i did. It makes endorphines and that makes you feel good. I have two 20 pound dumbells here at work - when I was where you are right now I pumped those suckers a lot. My arms got buff again and I got through the crave. I got over that 30 day crave in just a few days. I got hit again right about 100 days, but again, I got over it. I know you feel like you're going crazy right now, but it'll get better my friend. Don't give in.
