Cravings after 500 days

17 years ago 0 2614 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Gather up all of your skills and courage that you have used over the last 500 days. Revisit why you wanted to quit and get yourself very busy with something that is someplace where there is absolutely no chance to smoke. Are you rewarding yourself and congratulating and celebrating yourself. 500 days is an awesome and formitable achievement. It's time for a celebration! Keep Strong - Keep Quit Have faith in yourself. Julie, I think there was something in the air this weekend. I nearly blew a 300 day quit. Had craves as bad as a hell week. There is just no room for complacency with this addiction. Glad we both made it through. Julie - I, too get the cravings every now and then. Here's what works for me - put some oil of cinnamon ona toothpick and chew on that for a while. I find that satisfies the demons within! Stay strong Julie! Stay close to the site for a few days, too. If you kept a journal...go read how tough it was to quit...or go back and do some reading in the "avoiding slip and relapse" forum. I hope you wake up feeling refreshed and crave-free! Hi Julie, Hope you're doing okay today. These thoughts come back to haunt some of us from time to time - even with 500 days or more under our belts! It's important to remember to continue the rewards .....even after all this time lol :) Don't dwell on those "smoking" thoughts. Just acknowledge them briefly wen they come and then go think about something far more important! Congratulations on your quit :) Rachel x Two years, five months, two weeks, three days, 21 hours, 20 minutes and 58 seconds. 17977 cigarettes not smoked, saving 4,044.81.
