thank you all for your encouragement. Today is day seven and I am doing pretty well, but so tired no energy left in me. Since I have the opportunity to take it easy I will. I am reading a good book drinking lots of water and diet coke( can't stop that one).

Good job I had to give up anything I associated with smoking for the first 2 weeks My diet pepsi had to go along with coffee. I have not gone back to the pepsi and just have morning coffee, not my typical 2 pots a day. It gets easier. Post your meter. It is a nice motivator My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 73 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,208 Amount Saved: $383.25 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 21 Mins: 17 Seconds: 14

Good for you marie, the body likes lots of water. You are doing a great job. Getting the one week mark down is the hardest. Keep up the good work.
