Really hard

I agree with all replies here. Cigarette won't help. Try to do something -- excercize, go for a walk, yard work, house work -- to get your mind off of it. Hope you feel better. -TT

Same old stuff, different wrapper. How much of the committee is going upstairs? The first & loudest voice I hear is always wrong. Can't get past it . . . has it become resentment? What is it? We are all anonymous here . . . talk it out. Not comfortable with that - Do you have someone outside of those that live with you that you can call? Don't hesitate to use those tools too. You know smoking won't help. One moment at a time if need be. Talk to us Sparky. hey sparky when i quit this last time it was really hard, harder then the time before i don't know why but it was. Stress factors ya there is alot of those out there god i hope the cornhuskers one or else you would have 3 stress factors. I am making light of a bad situation i am taking you serious but you know it sucks the first couple of days, hours, min, weeks, then it makes a turn around. When I am feeling like you are right now I eat and go to bed because i have had enough of this day. stay cool My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 18 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 375 Amount Saved: $71.64 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 21 Mins: 3 Seconds: 10

Non smoking people deal with stress without the crutch of a drug. This is healthy behavior. It is behavior we have to learn. What new coping skills have you learned to deal with stress? How often are you implementing these new coping skills in your life? This quit is really hard this time. I found two more stress factors today. When I am walking I try to review what going on. Out of know where came two things that just drove me up the wall. I have not got pass it yet. Really want to smoke and come back in a few days. This stinks.

Hey Sparky. There is always tomorrow right? You know, I kept putting off quitting until tomorrow. Did it for years. The stress won't be as bad, the kids will be older, it will be easier, I will be stronger, the bills will be paid, I'll have more patients.... Guess what that is? The junkie thinking of an addict. We are all addicts Sparky. Something I decided to tell myself instead of waiting until tomorrow is to look forward to tomorrow. Every day is one day closer to never feeling this way again. Tomorrow will be better as long as I don't smoke today. Quitting is a choice you have made not a punishment. You choose not to smoke. That is a wise choice. Stick with it :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 431 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,638 Amount Saved: $1508.5 Life Gained: Days: 38 Hrs: 1 Mins: 32 Seconds: 52
