Hello again, Bonnie! Not to sure about the time zone thing...I just noticed my times and I definitely am not up at 1 am! Who/what's Yvonne? You signed your post Yvonne... just curious ;D I listed my email address for you and have just emailed you at your email address. Look forward to talking to you. Victoria

Victoria, I understood exactly what you meant. It's a bummer we don't have a little time to edit here, huh? Same clocks? We do seem to be in here about the same time, but the post time on my messages are 3 hours later. I am NEVER on my puter at 1:30 a.m like one of my posts said. Is there a way to change our time zone on here? Just wondered. Would love to email once in a while. Again, we sounds like we are in the "same" boat (setback, age, etc.) Maybe we can go on this "cruise" together...hee Yvonne

PPS Bonnie.... Just reread my reply....2nd paragraph, where I talk about acknowleding nephew's death....then AND it was thrilling...looks odd! What I meant was that you were right, my accomplishment WAS thrilling, I was agreeing with you, NOT death...sorry for the confusion. Victoria - who is wishing she could change that paragraph...

Hi Victoria, First of all I have to say...I felt so bad later after posting when I realized I did not say how sorry I was that you lost your nephew. I was so thrilled to see someone "so thrilled" about something that would "so thrill" me (a baby step) that not until I logged off did I realize what I had done...or not done. So, I am sorry bout your nephew and hope you and your family are recovering from the loss. About the program, I just started session one today and did my first day in the diary. Not much to report except that I was very speedy and anxious this morning. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being panic...about a 6. I kinda hate reading on the computer so I just do a little at a time, but I can see already it is going to be helpful. Just that little comparison of the "fire alarm" and no fire to put out, put things back into perspective alot for me. It also made me smile imagining all the fire engines and lil firemen I have running around inside of me..."all dressed up with no place to go..." hee.. Hope to talk to you more. Hang in there. Bonnie :p

Hello again, Bonnie!!! Thanks so much for responding to this email! I was so psyched (in case you didn't notice LOL!!!) LOL!! Yea, 10 pounds!!! But I am fighting back with positive self talk, strongly discounting my thoughts, and my desire to not let this take hold ;D Yes, it is great to know that others "understand", and I hope that from this story, perhaps it will encourage someone else to push ahead. I'm looking forward to starting charpter 2 this week. Did you get a chance to read the first chapter? Are you using the forms and panic diary? I think this program will be very helpful. Take good care, Victoria

Victoria, Me again, Bonnie. Man, this post made my eyes almost tear as I smiled from ear to ear. This is SO what I needed. A place where people understand how BIG some teeny things can be to us. I can totally relate to that fear. I probably would have reacted in the same way. Hey, and the 10 pounds? A bonus. Thanks for sharing that story. It makes me feel so good to know others need the same kind of support and "ears" as I do. Bonnie

Hi everyone! Well, I had developed a new fear this month because it was thought originally that my nephew died from a severe food reaction; however, that was not the case. I developed a nervousness (fear) of eating certain foods, like shell fish, nuts, and initially, didn't want to eat at all!! On the positive side, I've already lost 10+ pounds!! Anyway, tonight, I ate shrimp!! I'm so proud ;D I was nervous, but told myself I love shimp, I had never had a reaction, etc. Called my closest friend and talked to her after I had eaten 1/2 of what I was going to eat. I just wanted to share this with you all....Thanks for reading...I hope your week goes well Victoria
