Kate- I know your frustration all to well!!! Have you tried a stool softner, daily??? Also talk to your Doc if it goes on too long. I jog in the mornings and that seems to help out some but not alot. Hang in there, eventually our bodies have got to get better!!! Kate...just and idea but you are 5'8"??? Your calories should be a little bit more. That might be a reason for contipation....your body is holding on to everything. Maybe try more like 1800-2000??? Never go below 1200. Hi Kate, You tried exercising too? Or maybe a breakfast cereal high in fibre? Drinking water is invaluable. I think this is perfectly normal, you're body is going through changes. It will adjust naturally, but in the meantime find a good high-fibre cereal and drink plenty of water with it. All-Bran is a saviour for me. Don't know if you can find that in Greece - must be something similar over there.. Hope you'll be feeling better soon. Kate, I know it's frustrating. If you feel like you've tried everything, off to your doctor. He/she can prescribe you something until your bowels get back on track. You can also talk to him about your diet. He/she can help you determine how many calories you should be getting everyday. Keep persevering, Danielle _______________________ The SSC Support Team
