Before I quited smoking I have been searching the internet and I know a whole lot about smoking and quiting. I have read many forums and spoken to many men and women that quited smoking. I am writing a book about quiting smoking and I will be done writing in two weeks.
I've noticed that many people talk about having cravings but I have never had one myself. I don't have one problem and I have never been happier since I quit smoking. I want to share that with you all.
I discovered that some people who quit keep going on thinking as a smoker. Some act like non-smokers but acting and thinking are two different things. A person who still thinks as a smoker feels that he/she is missing something. They think about cigarets as something good and that is the biggest mistake ever. A cig. does nothing for you and never has. It's all in the mind. My first 4 days where not easy because the nicotine had to go out of my body. Once that was over I was done smoking.
I have more time than ever and I do something good with it, I write. I've changed my whole lifestyle and I feel brandnew.
I've also noticed that some people, who say they are in trouble because of their quit, don't want to hear about the way I think about quiting but that's their problem. They still think as smokers and as long as they keep doing that they cannot be a happy quiter like I am.
Think about this and maybe it can help someone.
I realize that this is my experience and my opinion. It helps me and maybe I can help someone else too.
Dutch hugs, Fini :)
