any herbal remedies out there?

I've just quit ONCE AGAIN, and this time 'round I'm trying some herbal remedies to cleanse my system and find that they really seem to be working! Wanted to pass them along and know if there's any others people know of to ease discomfort. I started my quit with a patch, and 5 days into it I put one on and it made me physically ill, I went without and feel really good-actually have more determination to keep my body clean because I've been trying like heck to take care of myself. I'm doing a Apple Cidar Vinegar tonic in morning and evening, which is supposed to cleanse your system, reduce appetite, help with heartburn/digestive problems, clear skin and help you sleep-I can attest to sleeping better and no heartburn or strange digestive problems, also have not been eating in excess. I definitely noticed a difference when I started doing this. I'm also taking extra Vit. C, which I read decreases the amoung of carcinogenic nitroso compounds found in smokers, among other benefits, and I'm eating a lot of bananas, for potassium. Potassium rebalances metabolic rates due to stress, help with nicotine withdrawal-normalizes hearbeat and helps flow of oxygen to brain. Flax seed is full of omega 3 fatty acids and keeps you regular. all these remedies are cheap and easy to find at the grocery store. I'm not a health nut, just extra determined to quit this time and thought I'd try anything-doing a little extra research REALLY helped, I very much recommend the ACV tonic. -Celeste My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/9/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 175 Amount Saved: $32 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 16 Mins: 57 Seconds: 32

I'd like to know more about the apple cider vinegar. Is it something that you mix? Are there any warnings.
