DREAMS

I had my first I smoked dream last night. When I woke up for a minute I thought I really broke my quit. But it was just a dream. My subconscience mind is thinking about going for a smoke during the day, I guess it will do the same thing at night. Hi Cheermom sounds like my day yesterday. I had exactly the same thing. I had dreams woke up thinking i wanted to smoke. Then all day I kept forgetting I was a smoker and could have smoked on a few occasions.

Oh goodness did I have some very vivid smoking dreams! LOL! Laugh at them! Nicodemon is such a sh*t isn't he?! ... trying to get back into your life any way he thinks he can. I would wake up thinking 'oh my goodness, WHAT HAVE I DONE???!!!!' Then I would realize it was 'just' a dream. And that is all it was ... it WAS 'just a dream'. As disturbing as the dream may be ... celebrate the fact that it was not reality. Reality is that you are NOT SMOKING. Reality is beautiful! Welcome to the Cafe Woman!!!!! Cigarettes Not Smoked

cheermom, I have had 2 very distinct dreams about blowing up my entire quit with one smoke. In the dream, when I was smoking, I was thinking to myself, why am I doing this ? I am just going to make it harder for myself later ... I smoked in my dreams but didn't really enjoy it at all. In the first dream, I even dreamed that I had two packs in my hands and tossed them both after I smoked that first cig. It is very common for ex-smokers to dream about smoking. Breaking Free writes about a dream she had a while ago and I think there are several threads on it. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. :) Mira Good job with your quit !!!!! You are doing a great job, my friend. Cigarettes Not Smoked

I'm still smoke free but dang, now I am having dreams about smoking?! What is up with that? I woke up last night at least 4 times in a sweat because I thought I had blown it with a puff. Not enjoyable let me tell you. Then this morning I'm back to my usual "I really could use one" feelings. I went 3 days without even a thought of a cig and WHAM today its back. I knew it couldn't last but geesh, sneaks up on you that quickly!! I'm at the Cliff Top Cafe (courtesy of Breaking Free opening it to 14 - 49 dayers) and am trying to keep my 14 days even though the "want" is pretty bad today. Kim - Two Weeks, TERRIFIC ! Diversion is key - do something different try reading before bed, take a walk at a different time of day, the dreams will fade away in time.
