Thank you so much Eve, it's great to meet so many nice people from all over the world, who all are non-smokers. It's almost 10 am here and I'm going to clean my house since I'm in such a good mood !!!! God bless you :) Dutch hugs, Fini :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,178 Amount Saved: 256.65 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 23 Mins: 46 Seconds: 1

Good morning all, I just want to share with you all how great I feel since I don't smoke anymore. I'm happier than I ever was, I feel clean, healtier and I am in a better mood. I dont have many cravings and when I do have one then I go do something and it's over in no time. I have smoked for almost 40 years and if I had known that it was not all that hard to quit I would have done it years ago. I think I am lucky though because for me it is not too hard. But on the other hand, I was more then ready to quit. I took one month to prepare and searched all the internet for information. Anyway, I just feel great and I want to thank you all for the support. Dutch hugs, Fini :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 87 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,178 Amount Saved: 256.65 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 23 Mins: 42 Seconds: 22

Hi everyone, I still feel great and I am soooo glad I've quit smoking. Thank you all for the support, that's a good help too. Jacko....you better prepare for the next soccergame. Don't smoke, it will make no difference if you smoke, you will be nervous anyway. You can do it, that much I know. I'm counting on you and I really do hope that the UK wins the worldcup. Big Dutch hugs for all of you. Hey Dutch: I am loving my quit too. I really think it is all in your mind. If you dwell on the negative it becomes a negative quit. If you dwell on the positive, it makes the quit easier and the quitter successful. Isn't it great to breath freely again. Navigator. Hey guys I am feeling GREAT too! I have had a few personal problems, but its actually easier dealing with those things when you DONT smoke! I agree a lot of it IS in the mind (although first week is hell week for most people I think). its getting better and better, I am so grateful for this board, and so grateful to be a non smoker. I agree, most of it is in the mind. And what isn't, you can still use your mind to help you get past/through it.
