So glad you are doing well Nalu! Hey...by the way...when we all get through this, are we all invited to Maui to celebrate??!! Nalu-I like that 'No rain; no rainbows'. Very inspiring. I can't remember who said it, but they said it is easy to learn something, it is harder to relearn something... Well, you are in a beautiful location to quit smoking in, and once you have quit you will be able to enjoy all those rich smells and tastes-salt water, flowers, grass after the rain, and (OMG)FOOD! Yeah, reading the directions on your NRT would be helpful. Don't feel bad, though, I heard Duckie's version of using the patch was putting one over each eye so she couldn't find her smokes!LOL!!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Just joking.... Easy, Nalu ... Be more kind and loving to yourself, dear one :) So - as you said, it's not the end of the world... Dig deep... there are only two things that are needed... 1) your desire to Quit MUST be more powerful than your desire to light up 2) N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever) That's it! Dig deep... are you willing to bring both facets to this Quit? Aloha ~ Healer :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 216 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,563 Amount Saved: $1004.4 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 0 Mins: 36 Seconds: 57

I have realized I have no choice in this but to remain smoke free. Pissed at myself for my slip yesterday, ( I have reset my quit meter) and have finally realized that DUH? Reading the directions on the nicotine gum would be helpful. What an Idiot, what a profound IDIOT... I love it..Every single moment that I don't smoke is a victory for me. Every slip a bit of a failure but not the end of the world. I am teaching myself to be a non smoker, I am teaching myself to not be a smoker? It's sort of like taking a really painful emotional college class. I need to be here, that I know, and I need to watch everything in my life that I do, it's hard, for sure but there is no other way, there is no other way. Hey guys thanks so much for all your support I'm doing great fantastic really, I have become convinced I can don this, I can't believe it it is like a light bulb turned on and yeah I'm grooving with this whole thing. Once I stoped listening to the negative voices of poor me whiner voices I got OK with it. I don't want to be a smoker, I might crave a smoke but I just told myself I don't smoke any more every time I crave and it starts to go away. It's still new and I am being very careful but it's working it really IS...YOU GUYS ARE great you really are. Thanks so much... NO RAIN NO RAINBOWS SMOKE FREE ON MAUI..!!!!!
