I've been exercising 6-7 times a week since I quit, running/walking 3- 3.5 miles a day. I've had a sucessful year for weight loss, having lost about 50 lbs since last november, but I've also been eating rather badly since I quit especially on weekends. My reasons for this aren't bad, I've been a shutin since I quit, due to the fact every last one of my friends are smokers, but I need to take charge. No more playing around so as of this moment I vow to eat right, exercise EVERY day, and lose the last 20-30 lbs I need to lose. No talk about how you have to gain weight when you quit, no negative thinking, just I'm going to do this bottom line, If I can quit smoking I lose weight while I'm doing it.
