It is nice not having to worry, worry, worry about when our next fix is. The freedom from those chains are wonderful! The feeling is so good it is impossible to describe! Wow, sorry I didn't see this earlier. I am glad you made it through, these stupid side effects will pass with a little time. Your doing fantastic. Just get through this first couple weeks and things will start to get better. Its difficult but you'll see the light at the end. Ok, I've pretty much made it through day 4. This is the longest I have ever been able to stay off those stupid things. I feel better about myself than I ever have. There were a couple of times when I thought that I could put my head back together if I just had a smoke. Then I remembered that it wouldn't solve a thing. nomad, Congrats on day 4! You can do this and we can help :) Take the time to make sure your symptoms don't last extra long. Check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.

But I'm not giving in. The carbon monoxide withdrawal is making me dizzy and floaty. I just came back from a geocaching trip with a smoking friend of mine. He had two within 45 minutes. Smelled gross. OMG his car stinks. I gotta go back there wih my kids and play play play... Without worrying about when I can get back home so I can smoke!
