Visualization and Panic

23 years ago 0 173 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have done some visualizations and have gotten some results, in that I sent an image of myself, the way I want to look to several people. Today, 1 person called me to say hello, and invited me to her house. These people I "sent" to are wealthy and in high places. Now, my point is, that I am living below poverty level, due to my limited income. I was raised in an upper-middle class situation and no way do I believe I am less because my in income is. People, however, look at things differently. It never hurts to visualize yourself "better" than you are, whether it be money, education, health, etc. The next visual I will do is my spine. I wanted to try something easy to see if I could get results. Now that I know I can...I will do the tough stuff. Maria..can you do this too? Will you try? Will you try to make the PA's lessen while you are driving? Is there someone you could carpool with? Where are all your friends? By the way, I see this a "group" also., for all I am doing is the one-on-one with my PhD. If I could do this and it works, why can't you? Let's make some progress here. I am going to do this for me..I am tired of not having any money for me to spend on me and I want a rich husband..and I am going to do that too. Wait and see,and while you are waiting, can you try too? Red

Dear Anne-Marie, I have done quite well with visualizations - however, how can I visualize myself 'not'having a panic attack. Do I begin in every morning with a ritual of a sort, maybe, of projecting an image of myself totally free of panic attacks? But, all this is in the 'Alpha' awareness - my MVP is flesh and blood - although, when I do meditate with tapes (all Alpha stuff) I do get into a very relaxed state - but, can one go around all day in Alpha? It is possible - but, in the real world (the one outside my apartment) most every one on the planet is living in chaos. Maria

Well I have rehearsed scenarios at times, picturing what I would say or how I would say it. when the moment came, it went smoothly, almost as good as when rehearsed. Have you tried this? -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator

What does everyone think about visualization? I like to close my eyes, imagine I am doing something, living somewhere, owning something, being in a certain area of interest etc; and I have actually realized some of my 'visions' so to speak. I wonder if 'visualizing' me 'not' having an panic attack in certain situations and in that imagination I am calm and serene and in control - if I did that enought would it work. Any one have any thoughts on this? Visualize what you think I look like. :-) Maria
