Feeling angry

18 years ago 0 3131 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Feeling better, jumped in the pool stayed in there for an hour, when I was all pruny I came out and ate a pear. My hubby is back and has forgiven me. The kids came over for a swim and all is well. We are making home made pizza for supper, the heck with the diet I don't need this right not. When this is all over I will go to Weight Watchers. Or maybe I will go sooner if I find it too difficult to roll instead of walk :8|:So once again thank you, duckie067,nascafar,niks,danielle,n2k,islandgirl,rusty. I am really greatful for your support marie xx My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 326 Amount Saved: $84 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 20 Mins: 42 Seconds: 40

I have been picking fights w/ mine for the last 3 days. The long term is I am not smoking and the yelling is expanding my lungs...bad side, I feel guilty for starting fights. I have told him for the last week it is about me and not him. Besides, I have to deal w/ him being whiney when he has a cold--he can deal w/ me being a complete and utter witch =) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 67 Amount Saved: $16 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 52 Seconds: 41

Hi Marie and Ducky - It does get better as we go further along in our quits. I found that many times I needed to apologize to my husband - so I just wrote a blanket letter to him, asking him to forgive all those times that I was a witch - but asking him for the support that I needed to quit. Asking him to communicate with me on a regular basis and when I yelled not to just walk away from me but try to understand what I was going through. (he smokes so he really didn't have a clue). Explain to them that you are going through a very emotional time and ask for his patience. Crying is a cleansing thing...we are mourning our old nasty lives as smokers and becoming a completely new person. You will learn many things about yourself on this journey...some great, some good, some not so good - but the important thing to remember is that you are doing a wonderful thing for yourself and your family. You are smoke free! I am proud of you both as I have seen you start your quit and continue on a great journey. We're behind you 100%. Come here and vent. We are the best virtual punching bag that you could ask for.
