I let a friend use my car yesterday morning on my day off (I am off Mon and Tues). Well, he shut my keys in the car door??? (I know, hard to believe) bending the ignition key. Then he put the key in the ignition to drive back to my house and when he pulled the key out, the end of the key broke off in my ignition. AAA has been here for 2 hours. Now the neighborhood locksmith is here. My car's steering column is wierd. They can not get the broken piece out, which would have been $50.00. They can't get the ignition out to replace it; that would have been $125.00. The have to DRILL the ignition out, which is fricking $275.00! My friend will not have the money to give me. I have the money, but gosh darnnit, everytime I get a little ahead some **%^ like this has to happen>??? I was trying to do the person a favor by lending him my car...now I am screwed and getting to pay for it too...gee, alot like smoking! I keep thinking, after I write that fricking $275.00 check, I am going to go get some nic lozenges. stress, stress, stress, stress. Plus, my two days off have been destroyed because of this mishap. I have so many things to do and can't get my car back on the road. I am ultra frustrated to tears.
