Hey now you are the chief leader of the June Bugs so you know you CANT SMOKE! Anyway what would you want to do that for? You have done THREE WEEKS NOW!!! That is awesome. For some reason I had a bit of a rough time around the three week mark. The mind can play tricks and use any excuse to want to smoke again (even reading posts on slipping and relapses and meters lol).. You wouldnt throw away 3 weeks, you have another 6 days to go and you will be at 4 weeks with me..but by then I will be at 5 weeks. I am not going to give up. Are you? :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 718 Amount Saved: 210 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 47 Seconds: 37

I'm doing good now but that felt really close. I got upset by all that talk I guess. Just goes to show you how mental this really is. Anyways thank you for your help and positive reenforcement. I think also all the good post that n2K bumped helped a lot too. You can find the good with the bad here. I think that when I see posts titled like that I will skip them untill I am stronger. Thank you for reminding me that the June-bugs rely on me! I am one of those people that needs to be needed. That made me feel really good and made me want to clinch my teeth and bare it. Anyways, i will protect my quit for now by not reading those posts and let the stronger ones help those people. Thank you again, Love Ya, Mama Melba My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 915 Amount Saved: $125.4 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 10 Mins: 12 Seconds: 3

I posted this elsewhere too but thought I better do it here because I am really seriously craving for some reason. This hasn't happened to me in a long time! am soooo confused! I don't know how to feel about these posts anymore! Somehow, they are making me crave for some reason. I think because it opened up the possiblity again. You can't ever even open the door a crack to smoking even in your fantacys!! I had a lot easier time just thinking that it isn't an option! Does anyone relate to this? I think that is why today we are not as loving as other days! Because social smoking, slipping and reseting meters are upsetting concepts to think about, much less post about. It seems to be bringing out the stress in us. Somebody just tell me I can't smoke and to hang on and breath in, breath out again. Hey mamma, dont give in. Some of the postings today upset me terribly and I agree, it has been a terribly day here for some reason. Dont let that nicodemon win because you have 22 days under your belt!! Hold onto those as you earned every single one of them. Hang on there Mama! For some strange reason, today has not been a good day on the SSC as far as the nature of the posts are concerned. This has happened before - and made me feel bad. Just remember how much support you have got here up until now, tomorrow is another day and things will be better, I'm sure! take care, Mr Ed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 147 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,430 Amount Saved: 1102.5 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 14 Mins: 58 Seconds: 44

Mama Keep going, breathe in, breathe out, breath in, breath out. Keep breathing slow and cool. Lift your arms up when you breath in and lower them as you SLOWLY breath out. Today is a stange day on SSC but tomorrow is another day, it will all be alright tomorrow. Just one puff is NEVER EVER an option. look ahead to tomorrow Mama. Pat
