I find inspirational reading helps with our daily self talk & attitudes.
Here is my personal stash. ;p
* Discipline is remembering what you want. Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.
* Man�s power of choice enables him to think like an angel or a devil, a king or a slave. Whatever he chooses, mind will create and manifest.
* Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.
* Become addicted to constant and never ending self improvement.
* Focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear.
* Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget about everything except what you're going to do now - and do it.
* Victory becomes, to some degree, a state of mind. Knowing ourselves superior to the anxieties, troubles, and worries which obsess us, we are superior to them.
* Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't - you're right.
* You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.
* Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
* Control your destiny or something/body else will.
* It's not that some people have willpower and some don't. It's that some people are ready to change and others are not.
* Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.
* Good habits result from resisting temptation.
* That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved.
* Learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to inner peace.
