Thanks Casey, that makes total sence because I've been working out and eating heatlier then I ever have. I haven't put on any weight, but I seem to be 'wider' (if that's a good word) then before...very weird.

Why is it that when you quit smoking it slows down your metabolism?

Hi I'm tryin, This is what I found out: Smoking effects a person's metabolism and also burns calories: Smoking burns up to 200 calories a day in a heavy smoker Because smoking burns calories, metabolism is boosted (increased) slightly, also Nicotine is an appetite suppressant. The website I found this info on also had this short but very important and true reminder: Weight can be lost, lungs cannot. TextText Hope this little piece of info helps.
