Dear Milaya,
Congratulations on making it through your first day!
I bought some really good Starbucks coffee, and celebrated by having a cup (actually 3 cups) on the morning of my second day. I felt the need to reward myself almost daily.
Don't listen to your junkie!!!!!! He is the one telling you it is okay to take one puff. And telling you it won't put you back to day 1 becuz you have less nicotene in your blood.
If you give in to junkie thinking now, it will be easier to give in later as well. Well maybe after you smoke, just one, you stay quit for another week. Then in that week, you smoke just one. And you stay quit for 4 days. Then you have one more. Then, I promise you, junkie wins. You will be back to smoking. You will wake up one morning, and it will smack you - you are a smoker again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fight junkie thoughts. Do not let the junkie thinking ruin your hard work and determination!!! You have what it takes to win!! Keep reminding yourself that you do not smoke. N.O.P.E. - Not one puff ever. That is how you stay smoke free, hence, becoming an ex-smoker!! Just take one day at a time. Before you know it, you will be in double digits for your days!
You can do this!!!!!!!!!!
