Weighing in for 6/8

18 years ago 0 220 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
My current weight is 174. My idea weight is 135- I just picked that number out of the air. I remember feeling good at 135. Plan is to buy a pilates tape that will be on sale tomorrow. Tonight I will walk. My goal is to loose 7 to 10 pounds by next Thursday. It's hot where I live so I plan on doing a lot of activity this weekend and sweat off most of those 7 to 10. Diet change- no more high caloried sodas- going with Coke C2 (50% the calaries)Buying a case of water to keep hydrated and help wash the waste from my body. What if we need help between Thursdays? I'd like to join this group :) I weighed in at 145.5 this morning. I guess I'll use that as my starting weight. I've been doing weight watchers. I have lost the 7lbs I gained the first two weeks of my quit. Now I'm trying to get back down to a comfortable 135. Hi quitters and losers! I know my weigh-in number is not accurate cause I've weighed on two separate scales. I will begin to use the same scale from now on. The new one reads 153. I have been using the elliptical machine every day for at least 20 minutes so maybe that has helped some. Rich, you can have 10 from me! Seriously, if you belong to a gym, try working with a good trainer. I would just like to take the opportunity of this thread to acknowledge the efforts of my super quit buddy who having quit smoking for nearly two years is now successfully addressing the few pounds which have been added during that time. She has a reduction target of 20 lbs (which I reckon will mean that she will have to run around in the shower to get wet!) by 15 July and has already lost 9 lbs since 24 May; that is 1lb every two days so she is right on course. This has been achieved by displaying a steely determination and discipline towards exercise and diet which isn't always easy. I admire her strength of character. I am proud of her and pleased for her but personally, I love her whatever she weighs! Penitent d755
