In weight Watchers they tell us that one to two pounds of weight loss a week is really healthy, but the other thing is, Zany is right, you can definatly lose a lot of water weight the first week. Looking back on my books from when I started in Jan. I lost 6 the first week, but of course most of it was water.
For your weight, Zany, you should probly shoot for somewhere around 1600 to 1800 calories a day and try to only do less than 30% of that from fat.As long as you are eating at least that much to maintain your body functions, you should be healthy. Try to do 5 to 8 servings of fruits or vegitables a day, and at least 8 glasses of water.
