OK, I have not been here since my anniversity. I have been quit a little over 14 months after smoking 40 years.
Best advice. Forget you blew it. Put a plan together for the next time when the urge is really strong. Go for a walk, give you significant other all the credit cards and checkbook and cash, drink the water, come here and post and wait for someone to respond. Go get a cinnamon stick. Figure out what triggers you and avoid it like the plague if you can. Everyone here has given you some good ideas, use the ones that work for you.
The proper response to do you want a smoke is N.O.P.E. Not one putt ever, but you quit one day, one hour, one minute at a time. You can do it.
