Breaking, I think what Josie said is that you actually get more nicotine absorption when you place the patch on your torso. (If I am reading correctly.) I did the same thing, Breaking! LOL On the 3rd day! I thought when I took it off that it did not make any difference! I am interested to hear why it should be applied on the torso too! Breaking Free, When you place the patch on your upper torso, the nicotine has easier access to your bloodstream. Because access is easier, it also makes it easier for the patch to keep nicotine levels at a steady level in your blood, therefore reducing your withdrawal symptoms. Hope this helps, Danielle ________________________________ The SSC Support Team

To avoid forgetting you're quitting: I recommend deciding which cigarette will be your last, then sitting down and smoking it like your last. Look at your watch. Say good bye. Acknowledge what you enjoy about it and be fully conscious of why you want and need to quit, and give yourself a pep talk that you will quit successfully. When you put out the butt, look and smell how nasty your ash tray is. Then immediately trash everything that's left of your smoke-stuff and go to bed or get yourself a start-quit reward! Be Happy! You're Quitting! Also, maybe leave yourself a note on the bathroom mirror reminding yourself not to smoke and to put on the patch. health, Please take the time to check with your doctor and pharmacist. They have extensive knowledge regarding side effects and dosages. Its possible that your smoking has been masking symptoms of some illness, and when you stop smoking the symptoms abruptly become noticeable. Breaking, You should keep it in the upper part of your body as it will absorb better into your blood stream and the it is less likely to fall off on the upper part of your body. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
