Zany, Saranico & Embg, I know you're tired but keep up the great attitudes. Keep persevering! You'll make it through another day! Danielle ___________________________________ The SSC Support Group

Thank you all, NascarFan, so you're feeling it too. I hope you make it. Maybe it's the heat as well 100 degrees here. It was a tough, groggy afternoon, but I made it. Only 4 more hours and I can call it a day and go to bed. Mr. Ed and Coban Fan, I like the way you think ;p Casey, thanks- when the energy really comes, I hope it lasts. I could use a higher metabolism. Breaking Free and Shevie, good idea, but Shevie our bathrooms stink-phewy :8o: Maybe I could get away with laying my head on my desk- unfortunately, I do tend to snore- oh well, people shouldn't be working at their desks during lunch, they should be goofing off on the interner :) Rusty, I have heard of that acupuncture thing for curing headaches. Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow before my head hits the desk. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 70 Amount Saved: $6.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 3 Mins: 49 Seconds: 34

I think work places should reinstate nap time- like in Kindergarden. Tossed and turned last night- today my mind is skipping- total lack of concentration if I could just take a 30 minute snooze, I'd be so much better ;) ZZZZZZZZZZZ! Welcome sarancio! This site is wonderful. If you already haven't done it, try the Quit Program Workbook on the left. So embg and sarancio, we're not cracking up, just withdrawing. It will be well worth it :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 99 Amount Saved: $13 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 25 Seconds: 7

I just read this the other day. When you find yourself falling asleep in the afternoons, try massaging one of these three acupressure points: the back of your neck, between your thumb and index finger, or just below your knee on the front of your leg. Or expresso works!
