wow! deja vu! so here i am, starting another day 2...and everything is different. heck...my 2nd day 1 was different! lol...woke up yesterday and didn't WANT to smoke...that's a first! not to say there weren't points in the day that i didn't...but the overall feeling was..."i don't want to smoke".....not to be confused with "i have to quit". so, right now...although my body is saying "smoke"....my mind and heart are sticking their tongues out saying "neener neener...i don't wanna!" think i'll go suck on a twizzler! Joluvshugs, The first steps are the most important. Yahooooooo! Remember when you see a person at the top of a mountain, they didn't fall there. - unknown Joonie My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/22/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 530 Amount Saved: $91 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 21 Mins: 27 Seconds: 5

You've got it now Jo. It is a choice not a sentence. For today, for the next five minutes, you choose not to smoke. N.O.P.E. Not One Puff Ever. Want is an entirely different subject. I may want to smoke but I continue to choose not to. It's all perspective. You can do it. Sounds like you have the right attitude now!
