Hi Sunshine:
Thanks for asking. I am still hanging in there, yes, but yesterday was very rough, my toughest day ever, I felt like I was just one minute away from smoking the whole day -- very rough cravings. I snapped at my poor, patient husband for the stupidest reasons - not getting gas before we went out shopping, stopping at a busy gas station, oh I was awful!! I craved chocolate so and I hate chocolate and my dear husband then drove out again to buy me a lovely marble creme cake which then proceeded to taste like anchovies!!! Our son called from college and I told him we had quit smoking (again) and he was like "yeh, right" "I've heard that before", but he still called to wish me a Happy Mother's Day, and my husband cooked a lovely dinner. After satiating myself with too much marble creme cake the cigarette cravings finally went away, and this morning they seem to be fine. I am leaving for vacation for 8 days this evening, going to Arizona with a friend. I think it will be easier to not smoke since she is a non-smoker, quit several months ago, and we will be doing outdoor things like visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Antelope Slip Canyons, and I always hated the "taste" of smoking outdoors. Thank you everyone for your support.
