It has been 52 days for me and I am so excited about it!! This was a beast I didn't believe I could ever beat! I had tried so many times and fell flat on my face! This time I have won!! YEAH!!!! However...(Now you knew there was a however) I have put on a few pounds and now I have to work at getting those off! Congrats to everyone for every single day that you are free from the nicotine beast!!! Together, we can do it!!! Hey People Cant believe that its almost 2 and a half months since i quit. Those first weeks felt like an eternity and this forum was a great help- i changed from a heavy smoker into a full time hypochondriac for a while, thanks to many of the words left on this board i was made aware that i was having all the stop symptoms that there were i thought i was gonna drop dead or go mad. But now im back to being more myself than i have been in such a long time - i feel confident fit attractive clean and above all else i feel good - i still think about smoking but mostly i think about what a waste of my time it was. Quitting was oh so hard but oh so worth it , a real will power test that makes you feel indestructable when you become aware that you've passed - WHEN YOU REALISE THAT YOU HAVE QUIT YOU REALISE THAT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING THAT YOU PUT YOUR MIND TOO - IT'S KIND OF AMAZING. Here I am. Don't post much, but I do stop in to read often. Can't believe I am where I am, toughtest journey I have ever been on. The past few days have been rough again. Not so much craving, but thinking of smoking and lots of crying which I didn't have in the beginning. Making up for it now. Try to keep myself busy with something to help keep the tears in check. Monday was bad and I still went to work in the afternoon and that helped, not sure how my eyes looked :( but I made it. I feel so much better than when I smoked that I just don't want to go back to it again, but I sure hate some of this we all go through.. Well anyway, keep up the good work all you that are starting out on this journey. We can do this!!! Hi everyone, I would like to say this has been the most difficult week for me, and without everyones support I don't think I could have made my journey this far. I am writing to say how proud I am of all of you, wow seeing some peoples stats gives me the strength to hang on! I think I'll always want a cig but this past week I've learned to take it one day one hour one minute one second to never smoke again thank you all for your support!
