Aww Bless your heart Duckie!! Sorry to hear 'bout the ears!!! But you ARE doing phenomenal and will kick it all out of you soon (ear tar included!) I was sick right before I quit. I was also sick a month before I quit. And a month before that. And a month before that. In fact, I've been sick on and off since Thanksgiving of 2005. I had the CA Flu 4x. yes four times!! Right before I quit I was in alot of pain, I was coughing so much and wheezing and I could NOT kick the last cold I had. I was sick for a couple of weeks, the congestion and cough and icky ache holding on. And when I quit I was on what felt like the tail end of it. I am only this weekend feeling clear of all congestion and cough. I have a little hacker (no not the computer type LOL) inside my throat every now and then but it's nothing compared to what I was going through when I smoked!! It was so bad I sounded like I had 1 foot in the grave! No joke! I am so glad you are here today, it is nice to see you keeping the situation light and lofty *thinks that sounds like someone familiar too* LOL ;p (((((((((HUGS FRIEND))))))))) Love, EVE :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 76 Amount Saved: $27 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 19 Mins: 20 Seconds: 5

Well, after 2 days of ear pain, I went to see my doc. BEHOLD!! A double ear infection! *insert wide eyes here* Nothing like getting 2 shots of antibotics. :8o: In some ways, I am thankful to be sick. I do not have the urge to even think about having an urge =)~ So I am thinking: Usually takes me 7 - 10 days to get better from being sick....by the time this goes by, I should be out of my brain fog!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful smoke free day today!! :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 108 Amount Saved: $26 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 41 Seconds: 32

OMG! Two shots!?! One in each ear!?! "Wide eyes" is an understatement. Arrrgggghhh! Boy, I'm in a whacky mood today. Sorry. :) You may find it takes a bit less time to get well now that you aren't smoking. Take care of yourself and get well soon, Duckie.
