Difference Between Hell Week & Heck Week?

OK here's my take on it: I actually thught they were they same thing, but that some people just didn't like to use the word hell so they chose to say heck instead. Funny how assumptions can look in writing LOL. In truth I have no idea what the difference is other than the name. I do feel I know why it is called hell week though, and it MUST be the first week of smokeless-ness. I can understand if heck week is week #2 it would make sense because it of course is not as bad as hell but is still not heaven (in any way shape or form). So those are my thoughts. Maybe someone can direct us to a posting on this somewhere? MANY BLESSINGS! I have been learning about Hell Week and often I see it referred to as Heck Week too. What is the difference between the 2? Once source says the very 1st week of being smober is Hell Week while the 2nd week is AKA Heck Week. I didnt have any trubs w/ the 1st week of not smoking but I am having major struggles w/ the 2nd week. I am confused at the moment and nothing is making any kind of sense. :confuse: TY! I dunno Eve. I am confused. The 1st week for me was a breeze but I did hypnosis. This week it has been awful. Emotional roller coaster for sure. I noticed there was a pattern in the last time I had quit. I used the patch for 2 weeks...and the 3rd week w/o one. At the middle of my 3rd week, I had brain fog, tiredness, edgy,emotional, etc. Then this time there is no patch and I am into day 10 and it is just as it was the 1st time I tried to quit. I am not sure if I am making sense but it makes perfectly sense to me :) At this very moment I have the brain fog, tiredness, and whiney. BLAH! As Casey said...everyone's quit is different. For me, hell week was the worst physical withdrawal. I basically stayed in bed and sobbed. Any illusion of sanity eluded me. Heck week...the nicotine was out of my system, but the nicodemon was screaming in my ear. It was more psychological than physical...but seemed just as bad in it's own way. Then came blah week - the blues - which can be short or long. Wondering if I would ever feel my old self again. Proud, but depressed - wondering why I was going through all this misery.
