The Fog (Con't)

18 years ago 0 547 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Duckie I have to say my fog is starting to lift. I am on day 14 and it is getting better. I did get a rather awful crave earlier and posted about it. I read yours and you said you got ill the other night, I hope you are feeling better now. If you feel ill like I did then there is a good chance the fog will lift soon. I have a feeling these ill craves leaving us are also taking some of the fog too. But we have to process those killer craves first to get through it. Hang in there hon you are doing super :) Hugs, Eve My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 114 Amount Saved: $42 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 51 Seconds: 52

Well, I still have the inner ear infection which has given me a severe case of vertigo :( I ended up in the ER early this afternoon b/c I was so sick to my tummy, I was getting sick plus the whole world was spinning :( Doc checked me out w/ blood tests and all was normal...then he did the O2 sats and they were 98 - 96 %--BP was 116 / 72---heart rate was 72 - 74--resp were 20--all normal BUT as soon as he looked in my ears, he said "Inner ear infection. This will cause your balance to be off, feeling very dizzy, and nauseated. This will cause you to feel like you are hungover." So...we are back to square 1--again.... <---stomps feet and pitches fit :/ My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 19 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 159 Amount Saved: $38 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 18 Mins: 3 Seconds: 41

Well, that is exactly how I felt :( I was talking to my friend and she swore up and down I was drunk :( I literally was tossing out my entire stomach b/c I was sick :( I just know I am tired of this horrid feeling and it is starting to wear me down :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 18 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 146 Amount Saved: $36 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 14 Mins: 42 Seconds: 56

Hi Duckie, I too had the upchucks from those dang spins!! I'm not sure the reason for the spins, but it sure sucks. That was the second time I had those. Once when I was preg. The docs told me it was hormones. But when I got them again when I quit, it made me nervous. I never made it to the docs, but they did go away. When the fog lifts, you will feel so much better. Please hang in there Duckie. I would recommend you call the doc again. For some reason, spins cant be right. Dizziness should be okay, but the spins are different. I urge you to just call the doc again and let him know it has not gone away yet, and let him know they have made you sick as well!! I dont know of anything to take this away!! I guess you just have to ride out the storm! Take care and stay strong!! I'm here for you!
